"Life, what a trip! One minute you're born, the next you die. Then, one day, you stand back and say:
"Aye yai yai! Was that ever believable, or what?! First I thought I was this and then I thought I was that, then I became this and then that. Hold on now, why are you looking at me like that? Wait a minute... OHMYGOSH! There was a pattern! Holy cow! You mean I could have thought anything... and been anything?! But what about limits? How could that be? What do you mean pie in the sky? Dreams come true? Infinite possibilities?"
Fortunately, there's still time...
Believe or not, if you think at it...it is true.
When I was 14 I hated my life, I hated school. With 18...the same. Now with 27 I miss my childhood, I miss school. With 21 was too much .. university, work, traveling, decisions ...now I miss that time and I regret I haven't spend more time enjoying it, being present and enjoying the moment.
I could say I now realize it much better but I am sooo damn happy I did it...and as I like to believe...it is never too late, fortunately, there's still time...
Dream, believe, live ... time is never coming back
I feel so grateful for all fiends I have and to those special friend who truly had a profound impact on my life. Those who were actually responsible for helping me move on to the right road and to a bright future. When I think of these great friends, I have such a deep feeling of gratitude that it is not so easy to put my feelings into words.
I feel so thankful that I had the pleasure of meeting so many great people wherever I went and learned lessons that changed my life completely. As I look back to the point where the change began to take place in my life, I'm reminded of the lyrics from one of Celine Dion's songs "Faith"
Right beside you is where I'll stay
Oh faith !
Just take me as I am... so please... have faith!
So many times and so many ways
I didn't know just where to go,
You gave me a sign and opened my eyes
That's the reason why I know
Right beside you is where I ll stay
Just take me as I am... so please... have faith ! have faith !"
You might take a few minutes today - regardless of what country you are in and do as those in the United States are doing - give thanks for the good that you have in your life.
Another message came today from Rhonda Byrne, the author of "The Secret" that I want to share with you as is perfect touching this message of "Thanksgiving"
"The greatest thief of human happiness and abundance is ungratefulness. Any lack in our lives - whether in money, health, or relationships - is simply the evidence of a lack of gratitude. If you focus on lack you are not being grateful, and that will bring more lack into your life. Yet the simple state of radiating gratitude summons everything to you.
No matter who you are or where you are, you can change your life with gratitude, but you must feel it with your whole heart and radiate it from every cell. Gratitude is not a mental exercise, and in fact, if you simply use your mind for gratitude it will have little or no power. True gratitude comes from your heart! You must think gratitude through your heart, speak gratitude through your heart, and feel it intensely in your heart.
Then practice gratitude relentlessly. As you practice gratitude you will attract more thoughts and feelings of gratitude. In a short time your entire being will be saturated with it, and you will experience a happiness that is beyond what you can imagine. This is what is ahead for you when you choose gratitude as your way of life. And if you can really live in this highest state of gratitude, you will never have to ask for anything. Everything you want will be given to you before you even ask, because gratitude is the magnetic substance that opens every single door in the Universe.
This Thursday is Thanksgiving in the United States. To celebrate Thanksgiving, I want to share an excerpt with you from The Secret Daily Teachings, which is being released in the US, Canada, the UK, and Australia on December 9th. This excerpt presents an easy way to start using gratitude and integrate it into your life by making every Thursday "Thank You Thursday." As you "Thank your way through every Thursday" you will open the most powerful receiving channel within you.
"Today is Thank You Thursday". Today and every Thursday is your day to say and feel "Thank you" in as many ways as you can.
Write a list of all the people and events you want to give thanks for.
Return thanks today to those who have done things for you.
As you walk say "Thank you" in your mind with each step you take.
As you drive, make each time you stop your cue to say "Thank you."
At various times in the day, think and feel "Thank you" inside you seven times in a row.
Look for every opportunity to say "Thank you" to other people, and say it with so much meaning that the person looks right at you.
Thank your way through every Thursday, and make "Thank you" your predominant thought, feeling, and words of the day.
"Thank you" - two words, inconceivable potential power, and all they need is you to put the power into them by expressing them.
I thank you for this inspiring message Rhonda and I hope it will inspire many other people today.
Today, I will be giving thanks to those individuals who have shaped my life, to those who come into my way and smile to them. It does make a difference :)
May the joy of gratitude be in your heart,
"Viata este foarte scurta, dedica-i timp "...
Esti bine ?" m-a întrebat.
Dupa ce ne-am asezat, a trebuit sa-i citesc meniul.
- "Cum a fost întâlnirea?" a vrut sa stie sotia mea când m-am întors in noaptea aceea.
- "Foarte placuta, iti multumesc", am privit-o recunoscator spunându-i, mult mai mult decât mi-am imaginat".

In 2007 am primit de la o prietena filmul "The Secret".
As recomanda-o si voua daca as sti ce efecte ar avea.
Multi m-au intrebat daca cred in ceea ce "The Secret" transmite. Deasemeni filmul "What the Bleep do We Know" un alt film documentar in care explicatiile legate de realitatea din jurul nostru par destul de plauzibile pentru mine.
Daca mai cred in Dumnezeu? DA.
Daca sunteti curiosi sa cunoasteti mai multe, vezionati cele 2 filme mentionate mai sus "The Secret" si "What the Bleep do We Know" si veti intelege ce vreau sa transmit.
He was an engineer, architect, designer, inventor, scientist, painter and sculptor.
While he is best known as an artist - the man who painted the Mona Lisa - he actually spent more time on scientific projects than on painting. As few as 15 paintings are definitely attributed to Leonardo, but there are copious drawings and many notebooks documenting his varied interests.
Leonardo's notebooks equal the importance of his paintings. They are perhaps the greatest literary legacy any artist has bequeathed to the world.
Leonardo da Vinci: the Codex Leicester - notebook of a genius allowed a rare insight into one of history's most celebrated minds.
Leonardo's voluminous notebooks occupied him throughout his life. In them he planned to treat four major themes: the science of painting, architecture, the elements of mechanics, and a general work on human anatomy. To these themes were eventually added notes on his studies of botany, geology, flight, and hydrology. His intention was to combine all his investigations with a unified world view.
It is estimated that a third of Leonardo's notebooks, 31 in all, survive. Leonardo compiled the Codex Leicester in Milan between 1506 and 1510. He wrote in sepia ink on 18 double-sided sheets of loose-leaf, linen paper, each one folded to make a total of 72 pages. In several places Leonardo addresses 'the reader'.
The notebooks were distinctive for two reasons: his use of 'mirror writing' and the link between illustration and text. Although his language was clear and expressive, Leonardo preferred illustration to the written word. 'The more detail you write concerning it the more you will confuse the reader,' he said.
- Vezi dumneata, acum ploua.
X = The end result in mind
Y = Manifestation
H = Hows (the cursed hows)
A = Action in the general direction of the end result
Please choose the equation that will make the most happen in your life, the fastest, with the least stress:
A. The End Result + Hows + Action = Manifestation
B. Manifestation + The End Result + Action = Hows
C. The End Result + Action = Hows + Manifestation
D. Action + Hows + Manifestation = The End Result
E. Eats Shoots + Leaves = Panda Energy

Get inspired, Ella
To be so strong that nothing can disturb my peace of mind.
To talk health, happiness, and prosperity to every person I meet.
To make all my friends feel that there is something worthwhile in them.
To look at the sunny side of everything and make my optimism come true.
To think only of the best, to work only for the best and to expect only the best.
To be just as enthsiastic about the success of others as I am about my own.
To forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future.
To wear a cheerful expression at all times and give a smile to every living creature I meet.
To give so much time to improving myself that I have no time to criticize others.
To be too large for worry, too noble for anger, too strong for fear, and too happy to permit the presence of trouble.
To think well of myself and to proclaim this fact to the world, not in loud words, but in great deeds.
To live in the faith that the whole world is on my side, so long as I am true to the best that is in me.

Happy Birrrrthday to Youuuu,
Happy Birrrrthday to Youuuu,
Happy Birrrrthday Dear Ella,
Happy Birrrrthday to Youuuu!
A few years back… not so long ago, heaven and earth erupted into a major celebration with the news of your impending adventure into this very time and space. You see, someone like Ella doesn’t come along all that often… in fact, there’s never been a single one like you, nor is there ever ANY possibility that another will come again. You’re an Angel among us. Someone, whose eyes see what no others will EVER see, whose ears hear what no others will EVER hear, and whose perspective and feelings will NEVER, ever be duplicated. Without YOU, the Universe, and ALL THAT IS, would be sadly less than it is.
You’re the kind of person
Who’s hard to forget,
To the people you’ve met.
Your friends are as varied
As the places you go,
And they all want to tell you
In case you don’t know:
That you make a big difference
In the lives that you touch,
By taking so little
And giving so much!
Ella, you are so AWESOME! For your birthday, friends and angels from every corner of the Universe, including buddies you didn’t know you had, will be with you to wish you the HAPPIEST of Birthdays and an exciting new year in time and space. You won’t be alone!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Ella!
PS - Ella, this is going to be YOUR year!!
"La Multi Ani >:D<" from Daria :)
lot of HAPPY BITHDAY from all my friends :))
Knowledge: The Search for the truth and Knowledge is one of the finest attributes of a man, though often it is most loudly voiced by those who strive for it the least.
Authority: To punish me for my contempt of authority, fate has made me an authority myself.
Truth: It is difficult to say what truth is, but sometimes it is easy to recognize a falsehood.
Cooperation: A hundred times a day I remind myself that my inner and outer lives are based on the labors of other people, living and dead and that I must exert myself in order to give in the same measure as I have received and am still receiving.
Wisdom: Wisdom is not a product of schooling, but of the lifelong attempt to acquire it.
Greatness: There is only one road to human greatness: through the school of hard knocks.
Happiness: A happy man is too satisfied with the present to dwell too much on the future.
Fame: With fame I become more and more stupid, which of course is a very common phenomenon.
Life: Life is sacred, that is to say, it is the supreme value, to which all other values are subordinate.
Aging: I have reached an age when, if someone tells me to wear socks, I don't have to.
Praise: The only way to escape the personal corruption of praise is to go on working.
Problems: Fear or stupidity has always been the basis of most human actions.
Relativity: An hour sitting with a pretty girl on a park bench passes like a minute, but a minute sitting on a hot stove seems like an hour.
Goals: One should not pursue goals that are easily achieved. One must develop an instinct for what one can barely achieve through one's greatest efforts.
Racism: The only remedies against race and prejudice are enlightenment and education. This is a slow and painstaking process.
Solitude: I lived in that solitude which is painful in youth, but delicious in the years of maturity.
Value: Try not to become a man of success but rather try to become a man of value.
Imagination: When I examine myself and my methods of thought, I come close to the conclusion that the gift of imagination has meant more to me than my talent for absorbing absolute knowledge.
A great book of inspiration :))
Beautiful film, a story full of inspiration :)
Narrator: "On September 3rd 1973, at 6:28pm and 32 seconds, a bluebottle fly capable of 14,670 wing beats a minute landed on Rue St Vincent, Montmartre. At the same moment, on a restaurant terrace nearby, the wind magically made two glasses dance unseen on a tablecloth. Meanwhile, in a 5th-floor flat, 28 Avenue Trudaine, Paris 9, returning from his best friend's funeral, Eugène Colère erased his name from his address book. At the same moment, a sperm with one X chromosome, belonging to Raphaël Poulain, made a dash for an egg in his wife Amandine. Nine months later, Amélie Poulain was born."
This is how the movie begins! The first time I saw this movie, I couldn't understand what was going on....it switched to another channel in 5 minutes. Two years later when I saw this again, I realized what a fool I was!!...How could I have missed such a beautiful movie on the previous occasion? That was all I thought about that day. Released in 2001, this French movie directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet featuring Audrey Tautou who later acted as Sophie in "Da Vinci Code" alongside Tom Hanks.
The story is about Amelie. Her father who's a doctor thinks that she has a unhealthy heart (while the real reason is that, Amelie yearns for her father so much that every time he touches her, which is only while doing a checkup, her heart beats unusually rapid!) and she's never sent to school. After her mother's death she becomes even more lonely and from there after she develops great interest in doing some simple, but different things. One fine day, she leaves her home and starts working in a Cafe'. Her colleagues at the Cafe' each have an issue or you can say problem of their own which makes them quite uneasy on several occasions. One fine day, Amelie stumbles upon a box hid behind a loose bathroom tile and when she opens it she finds a small treasure....a collection of small objects which perhaps a young boy had left behind. Amelie begins her quest to find the owner of the box and return this to him. After some days she finds him and is quite happy when she secretly sees how that person reacts upon finding his treasure. From them on Amelie decides that she would help people around her and make them happy; and in doing so, she will be happy too. She accidentally bumps into Nino, a guy who's hobby is to collect the torn and discarded passport photo booths and falls in love with him. But given the fact how shy Amelie is, she never appears face to face with him and is quite afraid to express her love for him....and help finds its way through Raymond Dufayel, her neighbor who's called as the Glass man by everyone....And how this happens...makes up the rest of the story.
Narrator: September 28th, 1997. It is exactly 11am. At the funfair, near the ghost train, the marshmallow twister is twisting. Meanwhile, on a bench in Villette Square, Félix Lerbier learns there are more links in his brain than atoms in the universe. Meanwhile, at the Sacré Coeur, the nuns are practicing their backhand. The temperature is 24°C, humidity 70%, atmospheric pressure 990 millibars.
The film has got a great look too...beautiful colors, there's never a dull moment in the movie. And there are quite a few number of references too...like Princess Diana (one of the characters wonders what British are going to Princess Di's ashes...he hopes that it will be thrown in space so that it becomes a star.
It's cute, refreshing, romantic...a perfect feel good movie. This one is among my all time favorite movies and definitely my favorite French movie! Highly recommended...one of the best films from Europe!
Awards: Nominated for five Oscars, won 4 Cesar Awards and several others
Here are some favorite quotes from "The Little Prince" book.
Grown-ups never understand anything by themselves, and it is tiresome for children to be always and forever explaining things to them.
Grown-ups love figures. When you tell them that you have made a new friend, they never ask you any questions about essential matters. They never say to you, “What does his voice sound like? What games does he love best? Does he collect butterflies?” Instead, they demand: “How old is he? How many brothers has he? How much does he weigh? How much money does his father make?” Only from these figures do they think they have learned anything about him.
If you were to say to the grown-ups: “I saw a beautiful house made of rosy brick, with geraniums in the windows and doves on the roof,” they would not be able to get an idea of that house at all. You have to say to them: “I saw a house that cost $20,000.” Then they would exclaim: “Oh, what a pretty house that is!”
To forget a friend is sad. Not every one has had a friend. And if I forget him, I may become like the grown-ups who are no longer interested in anything but figures…
“I know a planet where there is a certain red-faced gentleman. He had never smelled a flower. He has never looked at a star. He has never loved any one. He has never done anything in his life but add up figures.”
It is such a secret place, the land of tears.
To conceited men, all other men are admirers.
But the conceited man did not hear him. Conceited people never hear anything but praise.
“Why are you drinking?” demanded the little prince.
“So that I may forget,” replied the tippler.
“Forget what?” inquired the little prince, who already felt sorry for him.
“Forget that I am ashamed,” the tippler confessed, hanging his head.
“Ashamed of what?” insisted the little prince, who wanted to help him.
“Ashamed of drinking!”
“When he lights his street lamp, it is as if he brought one more star to life, or one flower. When he puts out his lamp, he sends the flower, or the star, to sleep. That is a beautiful occupation. And since it is beautiful, it is truly useful.”
“Nevertheless he is the only one of them all who does not seem to me ridiculous. Perhaps that is because he is thinking of something else besides himself.”
What the little prince did not dare confess was that he was sorry most of all to leave this planet, because it was blessed every day with 1440 sunsets!
All humanity could be piled up on a small Pacific islet.
The grown-ups, to be sure, will not believe you when you tell them that. They imagine that they fill a great deal of space. They fancy themselves as important as the baobabs. You should advise them, then, to make their own calculations. They adore figures, and that will please them.
“You move me to pity--you are so weak on this Earth made of granite,”
The flower had once seen a caravan passing.
“Men?” she echoed. “I think there are six or seven of them in existence. I saw them, several years ago. But one never knows where to find them. The wind blows them away. They have no roots, and that makes their lives very difficult.”
“I thought that I was rich, with a flower that was unique in all the world; and all I had was a common rose. A common rose, and three volcanoes that come up to my knees--and one of them perhaps extinct forever… That doesn’t make me a very great prince…”
And he lay down in the grass and cried.
“To me, you are still nothing more than a little boy who is just like a hundred thousand other little boys. And I have no need of you. And you, on your part, have no need of me. To you, I am nothing more than a fox like a hundred thousand other foxes. But if you tame me, then we shall need each other. To me, you will be unique in all the world. To you, I shall be unique in all the world…”
“If you tame me, it will be as if the sun came to shine on my life.”
“You are beautiful, but you are empty,” he went on. “One could not die for you. To be sure, an ordinary passerby would think that my rose looked just like you--the rose that belongs to me.”
“It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye.”
“Only the children know what they are looking for,” said the little prince. “They waste their time over a rag doll and it becomes very important to them; and if anybody takes it away from them, they cry…”
“They are lucky,” the switchman said.
“What makes the desert beautiful,” said the little prince, “is that somewhere it hides a well…”
And as I gave it to him my heart was torn.
"All men have the stars," he answered, "but they are not the same things for different people. For some, who are travelers, the stars are guides. For others they are no more than little lights in the sky. For others, who are scholars, they are problems. For my businessman they were wealth. But all the stars are silent. You--you alone--will have the stars as no one else has them--"
“I shall look as if I were suffering. I shall look a little as if I were dying. It is like that. Do not come to see that. It is not worth the trouble…”
He fell as gently as a tree falls. There was not even any sound, because of the sand.
Wait for a time, exactly under the star. Then, if a little man appears who laughs, who has golden hair and who refuses to answer questions, you will know who he is. If this should happen, please comfort me. Send me word that he has come back.
